I recently ordered (and received) your boo...Hi Liz,<br />I recently ordered (and received) your book and look forward to reading it as soon as I've finished the couple of books I've already started.<br /><br />My dad's cousin served in the RAMC in WW2 and sadly lost his life during a botched Glider Operation during the invasion of Sicily. He was part of 181 Airlanding Field Ambulance.<br /><br />I had a sneak peak at the beginning of your book and learned something about the Stretcher Bearer Brassard I bought a while ago. Mine is a white band with a red SB. The only other ones I've seen in photos have had red crosses instead of the letters.
